With our comprehensive in-house capabilities, we are able to ensure a full scope of construction services. Since 1991, UPB has built numerous buildings in Latvia, gaining vast experience as a general contractor and reliable cooperation partner for both private and public projects.

DESIGN & BUILD
Dealing with multiple companies for design and construction can be quite of a challenge. Therefore, we are promoting the Design & Build approach, where the responsibility for the whole construction project relies on one company. Such approach allows to reduce the overall project timeline and offers more flexibility to find the best approaches during the entire project. For example, the most suitable production, logistics and assembly solutions are taken into account already in the design phase. This eliminates the complications that may arise if the project is carried out by several different subcontractors.

Two professional engineering offices (UPB projekti and Būve un Forma) and our competent team of more than 180 experienced engineers give us the capacity and confidence to work with complex and challenging projects.
We are able to provide smart engineering solutions that respect the environment, and surrounding infrastructure and bring in effective construction techniques, allowing us to create ‘more’ with ‘less’. Our team can quickly adapt to the customer’s needs, and ensure delivery within specific deadlines and of high quality.

The case study of Hyllie Terrass embodies our expertise in creating the most effective emission reduction strategies. Locally in Latvia, the municipal building in Liepaja, Peldu iela 5, which was reconstructed by UPB, received an award as the Most Sustainable Public Building in 2021.
