STEEL STRUCTURES
UPB group is one of the largest steel structure producers in the Baltic region operating since 1993. We are proud to have supplied steel for some of the highest buildings in Scandinavia, for example, the 144 m high Citygate building in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Engineering and production units are willing to tackle the most challenging and complicated projects by providing a full scope of services – engineering, production, delivery and assembly on site. The Boeing 747-8 hangar for Azerbaijan airlines is a great example of the successful synergy of our services.
Additionally, we have expertise in integrating wooden components with our steel and concrete constructions. For instance, take a look at the Pedagogen Park in Molndal, Sweden, where glulam and steel were combined to create load-bearing structures.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Our core competence for infrastructure is design, production and installation of steel and stainless steel bridges that are manufactured off-site and delivered to construction site. Welding and painting are done in a controlled environment with multiple quality checks to ensure the highest quality standards and a swift installation process with less on-site labour.

MACHINERY SOLUTIONS
UPB machinery division is your go to partner for precise steel processing and tailored-made machining. We provide end-to-end solutions – starting from conceptual product design, along with CAD modelling and effective prototyping to in-house manufacturing, assembly and testing.
Our product range varies from small part welded assemblies, to serial production, to custom-made solutions, like grabs, conveyor systems or lifting platforms. With our skilled engineering team and wide manufacturing possibilities, we can create solutions that will suit your needs.
One of our latest machinery masterpieces – 7.4 meters wide lifting roof with a total lifting height of one meter.

PRODUCTION AREA
UPB has two modern and well-equipped steel factories in Latvia with a monthly production capacity of 1000 t and the total production area of 22 500 m2. We can produce large and complex projects with dimensions for a single piece:

- Max height: 4.5 m
- Max width: 4.5 m
- Max weight: 20 t
Three major sea ports are within easy reach to ensure safe and fast logistics to Europe and Scandinavian countries.
BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE
At UPB we strive to serve our clients with the most sustainable solutions. Our in-house team can provide calculations for emission reduction strategies as we did for Hyllie Terrass – a pilot project in Sweden for the NollCO2 (Zero CO2) certification.
Nevertheless, all of our products comply with the strict Norwegian NORSOK standards and we have received the necessary INSPECTA certificates, that allow us to mark the production with the CE mark.
