Nora Kalna
Member of the UPB Management Board
Nora Kalna started working in the UPB holding in 2001 as a legal assistant to become deputy director of the construction company NAMS two years later. She managed the UPB Department of Development from 2006 until 2009. She became a UPB holding Management Board Member and the UPB Executive Director in 2008 and until 2015 worked together with the founders of the holding, Uldis Pilens and Oskars Mors, in its management. Along with her work in the holding’s companies, she participated in the foundation and establishment of the non-governmental organisation ‘Stabilitāte’. She has been the Chairwoman of the Board of the organisation since 2005. Prior professional experience was obtained at LSEZ SIA Laskana in the position of a lawyer. She studied finance at the Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration and law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia. Nora Kalna obtained additional education in the fields of public procurement, building law, tax and labour law.
